Our Program

Jessica is the founder and educator at Rising Light Enrichment Pod. As a devoted homeschool mom to three energetic boys, she understands both the joy and challenges of educating children at home. After homeschooling her own children for the past two years, she developed a passion for creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that help students grow.

In addition to her homeschool experience, Jessica is a licensed Physical Therapist with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and has spent her professional career helping individuals achieve their goals through patience, encouragement, and personalized support. Her background in healthcare has strengthened her ability to understand each child's unique needs and learning style which creates an environment where every student can thrive.

Outside of the classroom, Jessica enjoys camping, exploring the outdoors, and spending quality time with her family. She believes children learn best through curiosity, meaningful relationships, and opportunities to discover their unique strengths. Her goal is to partner with families to provide a nurturing, enriching environment where the students develop a lifelong love of learning.

Cathy is an educator at Rising Light Enrichment Pod and brings a lifetime of experience, creativity, and a genuine love of learning to the pod. As the proud mother of two adult daughters, she understands the value of nurturing each child's unique strengths while creating a warm, encouraging learning environment.

Over the years, Cathy has worked with children of all ages, from preschool through high school. Her passion for mentoring young people has been evident through years of leading Scout troops, organizing camping adventures and craft activities, volunteering in classrooms, and teaching children's classes. Her enthusiasm for learning, exploring new ideas, and encouraging curiosity is contagious, inspiring students to approach each day with confidence and excitement.

Cathy holds an Associate of Arts in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, combining practical knowledge with a lifelong commitment to education and personal growth. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys traveling, painting, baking, and spending quality time with her family.

Cathy is passionate about creating a positive, engaging environment where students feel supported, challenged, and excited to discover their potential.
